Presuming that BofA (BAC) is going under, why is Buffet doing this nows...to stave off for a few days or months the collapse of B&A while much more than $5 billion of his money in other connected obligations can be saved or increased? BofA replaced Atria (which spun off Kraft...in which Buffet took a 8.6% stake 7 mo earlier) and Kraft replaced AIG on the DJ in Sept of 2008. Is there a connection(s)?
