So it is easy for them to spend trillions of our hard-earned money, isn't it? If they had to pay this out of their own pockets, they may change their attitudes. Even the pay the government receives comes from the taxpayers. Everyone forgets that government has none of their own money - only taxpayer's money to play with as they choose. And so far, they are really playing with this money to the tune of Trillions of Dollars. When will it stop? Not until the American people insist that it stops. Everyone thinks they are getting free money from the government, but this is actually our own money they are giving to programs or us, whichever the case may be. Why not let us keep more of our own money and we won't need all these programs that cost the taxpayers ten times more than they actually give to the people. Every time the government gives the people some of their money, some government worker is making big bucks giving this money out. Wake up Americans!
