Robert, while I respect what you have said, you obviously are not employeed in the trucking industry. I haul many loads for my local CH office, have good friends there, and when we hang out on the weekends, even CH employees will tell you that their OWN company is horrible about rates right now, and they hate even having to try to move loads right now. There is no load that should have to be hauled for .55 a mile, but call any CH office in the northeast part of the United States and thats what they offer. I broker freight myself Robert, and NEVER move a load on another truckline for less than $1.20 per mile. CH has been undercutting my customers to almost less than a dollar a mile, and we trucking companies cannot compete with that sir, nor should we have to.

Bill - it's unfortunate that you are bitter and disgruntled with your preception of Robinson. There are many in the trucking industry that would strongly disagree. Yes, the company makes money - why be in business if it's not making money? Carriers are not only the backbone of CHR's business but trucks and drivers are the backbone of America! CHR is not big enough to "single handedly ruin the industry" - it's too small and the industry is too big and fragmented for that kind of impact. CHR pays what the market will bare and that's dictated by market forces far beyond the grasp on just one company. I also strongly disagree that CHR has the ability to drive a company into bankruptcy. Companies that aren't surviving these days are getting plenty of help going bankrupt aside from any influcence from Robinson. Bill, if you are a trucker in the business reach out to your local Robinson office and ask for some guidance.

CHRW is single handedly ruining the trucking industry and putting people out of business! These people are trying to move freight for .60 to .80 cents per mile, and the sad thing is people are forced to take it because they have more freight than any broker in the industry. These people do not care about taking care of truckers, they care about padding their millions!

I guess you guys don't like posting the truth. The fact is that CHRW has gotten rich making carriers go bankrupt, and if thats something you are willing to support, then shame on you as well.
