The long only strategy works great if you are at the beginning of a bull market, but in a situation like today, you are bound to lose money unless you play both long and short.

I don&#039;t know of many people first-hand that can still vouch for a buy and hold strategy unless they own a large position in a certain company entirely themselves.</description>

		<description>Yes the beliefs of many investors are changing, investing in a basket of stocks or an index is no longer acceptable, the risk-adjusted returns of such strategies is terrible, pair trading is taking off with many fund managers and traders alike and we are experiencing substantial increase in demand for this strategy.</description>
