		<description>Truly solid analysis Martin, presented in balanced and measured prose: good to see the European touch in there too. Not everything of persuasive insight has &quot;made in America&quot; stamped on it. However, I fear for Joe the Plumber both in the US and in the UK, where his obvious deight at multiplying capital on RBS, Citi etc has bred a new found complacency, seen only this week in the confidence numbers. We all know how this ends, and it is not with perpetual party time.</description>
