Now let me see... based on "invested interest" Congress believes that the stockholder should have a say in executive compensation? Seems to me that the taxpayer has an "invested interest" in the "corporation" known as the US government. That being the case, shouldn't we taxpayers have a say in the compensation of its "executives", known as Congressmen? Clearly the "say on pay" issue is at least partially a performance issue. That being the case, Congress should be in for a massive pay cut, including fringes and perks. Additionally, as "investors", shouldn't taxpayers receive full disclosure of "executive compensation" of Congressmen? "Say on pay" and full disclosure of compensation for Congressmen. How do we get this long overdue movement going!!??
