Very educational and interesting perspective. My only confusion with the dramatic price increase projection is that world demand for oil is expected to increase 2% in 2011. On January 18 or19 OPEC announced they would have no problem producing enough oil to meet the expected increase in demand. I thought the instability in the mideast over the past 10 days certainly would have taken the price of west Texas crude over $100 per barrel as it did Norht Sea brent. I did sign up today for the newsletter and will be watching closely to see if the price prediction comes tru by mid-summer and prices exceed the $100 mark on their on merit.

The reserves added during the last 10 years "may" have balance the demand, but the ability to manufacture products (sub-sea) and Operators and NOC capability to execute projects will GAP that will force the crude price to $ 200+ before the summer. The global warming with cold winters (heating) and ultra hot summers (AC) will both add to the increased price together with thecar sales in China & India.
