Facebook (FB) or Twitter (TWTR) - Which Stock Is Better?

Which social media powerhouse - Facebook Inc. (Nasdaq: FB) or Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) - is a better stock to buy today?

That's the question host Stuart Varney posed to Money Morning Defense & Tech Specialist Michael Robinson on FOX Business' "Varney & Co." program yesterday (Tuesday).

Both companies have performed well lately. Just yesterday, Twitter delivered a great earnings report in which it not only beat expectations but showed a promising increase in its active user base. Investors loved the news, pushing Twitter stock up more than 20% in Wednesday trading.

For its part, Facebook stock is up 8% after its impressive earnings report last week in which it delivered strong numbers across the board, handily beating Wall Street forecasts.

While both FB stock and TWTR stock look attractive right now, Michael had no problem choosing one over the other.

He gives his pick and explains his choice in the video below.
