There are a few factors making it look like it's time to buy Wells Fargo stock...
In an era of big banks drawing federal investigations and big fines, this might surprise you.
But as Money Morning Capital Wave Strategist Shah Gilani pointed out today (Wednesday) on FOX Business' "Varney & Co.," fines aren't a big issue.
"The banks have done very well and I think they pay their fines as if they're just tolls," Gilani said. "Then they go back to doing business as usual."
Shah said of the best bank stocks to buy, Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) is the "safest."
