The 3 Most Contested Symbols of the Illuminati on the Dollar Bill

Conspiracy theories tied to the Illuminati on the dollar bill seem almost as abundant as the currency itself. These notions surmise everything from hidden satanic messages to evidence of how the world will end.

While there are several symbols purportedly hidden on the U.S. dollar bill, three of them are the most widely debated - all of which can be found within the Great Seal of the United States.

The entirety of the Great Seal - located in the two circles as show below - is printed on the reverse side of the dollar bill.

The three controversial symbols within the Great Seal are as follows:

  • The Coat of Arms - (on the front of the Great Seal of the United States)
  • The unfinished pyramid - (on the back of the Great Seal of the Unites States)
  • The Eye of Providence - (on the back of the Great Seal of the United States)

Here's a look at what these symbols mean and why - to some folks - they're evidence of the Illuminati's existence, right there on our country's most utilized unit of currency.

Proof of the Illuminati on the Dollar Bill

The Coat of Arms: On the obverse (front) side of the Great Seal is an eagle with 13 stars above its head. These 13 stars represent the original 13 colonies of the United States. Conspiracy theorists, however, believe the 13 stars were arranged to form a hexagram - a design arranged by George Washington himself. Supposedly, Washington asked Hayim Solomon, a wealthy Jewish businessman from Philadelphia, what he would like as a personal reward for his services to the Continental Army. Solomon had saved the Army through financial contributions (but later died a pauper). Solomon said he wanted nothing for himself, but that he would like something for his people. The Star of David on the Great Seal of the United States was the result.

It should be noted that the number 13 is repeated all over the obverse side of the Great Seal:

  • 13 stars in the constellation over the eagle's head
  • 13 stripes in the shield upon the eagle's breast
  • 13 arrows held in the eagle's left talon
  • 13 letters in e pluribus unum on the scroll carried by the eagle

Theorists believe this repetition of the number 13 demonstrates the power of 13 American families that dominated politics - among them Washington, Solomon, and Jefferson - during the time of the Seal's creation. Each of these families allegedly contained members of the Illuminati.

The Unfinished Pyramid: The primary motif on the reverse side of the seal is an unfinished pyramid that consists of 13 courses of masonry, represented as 13 layers of bricks. At the pyramid's base, the year 1776 is inscribed in Roman numerals. This is in reference to the year the Declaration of Independence was signed. However, conspiracy theorists consider it a subtle homage to the year Adam Weishaupt formed the Order of the Bavarian Illuminati (the original Illuminati sect). Weishaupt's Order was later be banned by the government of Karl Theodor, Elector of Bavaria, in 1784 for its "radicalism."

It is also believed that the pyramid and its layers represented the creation of the 13 colonies.

The Eye of Providence: Many conspiracy theorists believe the Eye of Providence atop the unfinished pyramid represents the powerful influence the Illuminati had on America's founding.

It is common for the "All-Seeing Eye" (which is found in several cultures' histories, such as Hinduism and Buddhism) to be represented within the confines of an equilateral triangle. Both conspiracy theorists and realists alike agree that on the Great Seal, the three sides of the triangle represent the Christian Deity - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

However, conspiracy theorists believe that the eye itself represents the Illuminati "watching over the world."

On the seal, the Eye is also surrounded by the words annuit coeptis, meaning "He approves (or has approved) our undertakings," and novus ordo seclorum, meaning "new order of the ages."

The latter of these two Latin quotes, as you might guess, is where the concept of a "New World Order" is derived from. The common conspiratorial theme being that a New World Order - made up of the secretive, powerful financial and governmental elite - have a globalist agenda: They are behind the scenes, colluding to rule the world

The Birth of an American Gulag? In the days of the Cold War, secret prisons were places where Communist dictators dispatched their political dissidents on trumped up charges, often never to be heard from again. Back then, Americans would shake their heads in disapproval at those reports and say, "That can't happen here." But it can - and has. Here's why these secret prisons violate everything America stands for...
