John Boehner: Ted Cruz Is "Lucifer" and a "Miserable SOB"

Former Speaker of the House John Boehner had some choice words for GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz last night. He took to the stage at a Stanford University auditorium to talk government and politics with students and faculty there.

Boehner's blunt, no-holds-barred attitude set the tone for the evening...

Especially when asked for his opinion on Cruz. Boehner reportedly made a face at the question, which drew laughter from the crowd.

Then he unleashed his fury...

According to John Boehner, Ted Cruz is "Lucifer in the flesh," quoted The Stanford Daily today. "I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life."

Ouch.

He was then asked if he would be able to support the Texas senator should he become the Republican party's presidential nominee...

His reply?

Nope.

Boehner went on to describe other Republican candidates as friends, chiefly Ohio Gov. John Kasich. But as far as he's concerned, real estate mogul Donald Trump is already the GOP's presumptive nominee, reported the Stanford paper.

While he did not outright praise Trump's policies, the former speaker did say he would vote for Trump in the general election should he become the GOP nominee.
