Best Marijuana Stocks to Watch No. 9: Canopy Growth Corp.
Canada-based Canopy Growth Corp. (OTCMKTS: TWMJF) produces and sells medical marijuana.
One of Canopy's claims to fame is its Tweed Farms, the largest marijuana-dedicated greenhouse on the globe.
It has over 350,000 square feet of space.
Over the last 12 months, the TWMJF stock price has climbed 332.09%. So far in 2017, the TWMJF stock price has climbed 36.22%.

Formerly run by 2016 presidential candidate Gary Johnson from 2014 to 2016, Cannabis Sativa Inc. (OCTMKTS: CBDS) develops, manufactures, and sells herbal-based skincare products through its subsidiaries.
Its skincare line, sold through Wild Earth Naturals, consists of body lotion, face cream, lip balm, healing balm, and a product for headaches.
Cannabis Sativa also sells cannabidiol-infused bottled water.
So far in 2017, the CBDS stock price has climbed 6.78%.

Kush Bottles Inc. (OTCMKTS: KSHB) is headquartered in California and was founded in 2010.
It markets and sells packaging products for recreational and medical marijuana companies. Kush also has an in-house marketing and branding team that can create logos, brochures, and websites.
Kush also sells pipes, rolling papers, and rolling devices.
So far in 2017, the KSHB stock price has fallen 15.6%.

General Cannabis Corp. (OTCMKTS: CANN) leases space for marijuana cultivation.
It also offers transportation of the crop, as well as:

- Video surveillance
General Cannabis also sells marijuana-themed apparel.
Over the last 12 months, the CANN stock price has climbed 378.75%.
Best Marijuana Stocks to Watch No. 5: CV Sciences Inc.
CV Sciences Inc. (OTCMKTS: CVSI) manufactures, markets, and sells plant-based CBD products. The products include specialty foods, beauty care, and vaping smoke products.
CV Sciences is currently working on synthetically formulated cannabidiol-based medicine that will need approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
According to its website, CV Sciences has achieved promising results from preclinical trials using cannabinoid medicines for treating a range of medical conditions.
Over the last 12 months, the CVSI stock price has dropped 99.3%.

MassRoots Inc. (OTCMKTS: MSRT) is a social media platform for marijuana enthusiasts.
MassRoots has both an app for mobile users and an Internet portal.
It has more than 900,000 users who can keep up with legalization news, share content, and find dispensaries through the app and portal.
So far in 2017, the MSRT stock price is down 14.42%.
Best Marijuana Stocks to Watch No. 3: Growblox Sciences Inc.
Growblox Sciences Inc. (OTCMKTS: GBLX) researches and develops medical marijuana to treat Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer's, and pancreatic cancer.
The company also provides plant biology cultivation technologies to divide cannabis into medical grades, concentrates, and other cannabis-based therapies.
Over the last 12 months, the GBLX stock price has climbed 76.65%.
Best Marijuana Stocks to Watch No. 2: Scotts Miracle-Gro Co.
For gardeners all across the United States, Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. (NYSE: SMG) is a well-known name.
But Scotts is also becoming known for its investments in the marijuana industry...
Scotts CEO Jim Hagedorn invested $120 million in a hydroponics equipment company in July 2016, and Hagedorn bought two companies that sell fertilizer and accessories for marijuana growers in 2015.
The SMG stock price has climbed 30.6% in the last 12 months, and SMG shareholders also receive a dividend of $0.50 per share.
Best Marijuana Stocks to Watch No. 1: GW Pharmaceuticals Plc.
GW Pharmaceuticals Plc. (Nasdaq ADR: GWPH) was founded in 1998 and is based in the United Kingdom.
It discovers, develops, and commercializes cannabinoid prescription medicines. GW Pharmaceuticals developed the first prescription derived from a cannabis plant. It's used to treat spasticity.
GW is currently working on a product called Epidiolex, which will be used to help patients with rare epilepsy disorders.
If more states legalize marijuana and it's no longer a Schedule I drug, GW will be able to offer more plant-derived therapeutics.
