Top Marijuana Stocks to Watch This Week (April 24)

Numerous announcements came from the marijuana industry on April 20, 2017, which is known as the official "pot holiday."

And some of the announcements could mean big things for select marijuana stocks.

The first marijuana stock on our watch list today is MassRoots Inc. (OTCMKTS: MSRT).

As members of our free Profit Alerts service know, we've been watching MSRT since November 2016. MassRoots is a social networking company that allows marijuana enthusiasts to connect.

As of March 20, MSRT has more than 1 million registered users, according to a company press release.

And we're continuing to watch this marijuana stock because of a new partnership with Whoopi Goldberg and Maya Elisabeth (an award-winning edibles maker). The duo's company, Whoopi and Maya, was launched in 2016, according to MarijuanaStocks.com.

Its offerings include an herbal medical cannabis product designed to provide relief for women with menstrual cramps.

MassRoots didn't provide specifics on the partnership in its April 20 announcement. But Goldberg said she is excited to work with the marijuana social media site to get the word out about her cannabis products.

Which States Will Legalize Marijuana Next?

And because of Goldberg's celebrity status and Elisabeth's following in the cannabis industry, this should bring more awareness to MassRoots. In turn, that should help increase MSRT's user base.

Another big announcement on April 20 was from Future Farm Technologies Inc. (OTCMKTS: FFRMF).

The lighting and fixtures company said it sold out of its Scorpion LED COB Grow Lights. The company also passed Interetek's ETL certification process, which is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards.

The safety standard now approves the Scorpion line of indoor grow lights for retail sale across North America.

And as more U.S. states legalize marijuana, the market for LED lighting is going to be huge...

As a whole, the LED lighting market was worth $30 billion in 2016. According to the company's website, the global LED agricultural grow light market will be worth $1.8 billion by 2021.

While those two stocks are both worth watching this week, this third stock is our top marijuana stock to watch now.

That's because this company is bringing CBD (a cannabis compound) to an industry expected to be worth $47.20 billion by 2020...

On April 19, Endexx Corp. (OTCMKTS: EDXC) announced that its cannabidiol-infused (CBD) gourmet tea beverages are available for purchase.

The company is also shipping to pre-order customers now, and the first batch of the tea produced over 28,000 tea bags.

"Our CBD-infused Chai is primarily a wellness product that contains only the finest tea and herb ingredients and provides our customers with an enhanced tea experience. Although there is still a lot of education to be done on the health benefits of CBD, it has been proven to alleviate inflammation, muscle spasms, anxiety, epileptic seizures, and pain," Endexx CEO Todd Davis said in the April 19 press release.

You see, this crossover play allows the company to reach two huge markets: tea and cannabis.

According to a Transparency Market Research report, the global tea market is expected to be valued at $47.20 billion by the end of 2020. Meanwhile, legal marijuana sales in North America are projected to reach over $20 billion by 2020.

And because of the skyrocketing growth of the cannabis sector, investors have been asking us for a comprehensive guide on the marijuana industry and marijuana stocks.
