World stock markets were mostly firmer overnight, but in quieter trading. U.S. stock indexes are pointed toward firmer openings when the New York day session begins. The U.S. stock indexes are at record highs this week. Hopes for tax cuts in the U.S. are helping to lift the U.S. stock market.
Gold prices are weaker again in pre-U.S.-day-session trading. The bears have gained some downside technical momentum this week. A higher U.S. dollar index this week is also working against the gold and silver bulls.
The legal cannabis sector is no longer the "Wild West"-style marketplace it was back in, say, 2013, but there's still plenty of volatility compared with the placid broader markets.
Then again, that's why the right pot stocks reward forward-thinking investors with triple- and quadruple-digit gains. In fact, there's a bevy of micro- and small-cap companies, any one of which could be the next mega-cap blockbuster – the long-sought-after "Starbucks of weed" or "Facebook of pot."
My Nova-X Report's Roadmap to Marijuana Millions model portfolio is chock full of those kinds of stocks. Right now, my paid-up members are sitting on gains as high as 915%… 520.6%… 442.7%… and five more triple-digit winners. (If you'd like to find out how to take advantage of this green revolution and get in on opportunities like those, click here.)
But I don't want to leave anyone with the impression that the only way to make a killing on pot stocks is to buy small, volatile companies. The gains from my Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. and GW Pharmaceuticals Plc. recommendations prove that just isn't the case.
Then there's the company I want to tell you about today.
It isn't likely to quadruple your money quickly, but you'll likely smash the market with double- and even triple-digit gains, and it pays a dividend that puts you way out ahead of inflation and low interest rates, too.
There's big Saudi Aramco IPO news this week, and it might mean the oil company never goes public…
The Saudi government is reportedly considering new avenues for selling Aramco, and none are an international IPO.

Bitcoin rallied back from its biggest drop in a month yesterday, but that's not exactly why we're excited for it.
Right now, we're looking ahead to a really big event: the "hard fork" expected next week, on Oct. 25.
This move is going to create Bitcoin Gold, just like the last hard fork spawned Bitcoin Cash. The new crypto will "enter the wild" on Nov. 1.
But that's not what has us fired up. The hard fork speaks well of Bitcoin's durability, of course, but it remains to be seen whether its new "flavors" will be good investments.
Rather, we believe Bitcoin Gold is going to be like pure rocket fuel for one of our favorite stocks…
It's a textbook "10-bagger" that's given us more than 1,138% in peak gains since our (very) early "Buy" call back in June 2013.
Today, we're upgrading our call to "Screaming Buy," because our Cryptocurrency Expert, David Zeiler, has proof that this hard fork is likely to ignite a whole new round of gains in these shares.
And it could happen very quickly, too...
For Amazon's second headquarters, everywhere from Texas to Chicago is being considered.

North Korea could come to the diplomatic bargaining table on one condition.
And it's a caveat that President Trump may not be willing - or able - to give up.

Silver is off to a strong start this month so far, climbing to a one-month high of $17.41 last week.
Although prices may back off in the next couple weeks, we predict they'll rebound through the last two months of 2017.
Here's why we forecast a 20.4% rebound in the silver price before 2018...
Ripple prices today dropped 10% as the company's Swell conference is in full swing in Canada.
Investors were hoping to hear a big announcement from the company, but nothing has happened.
