The U.S. Chamber of Commerce was an adamant supporter of Trump's tax policy. The White House has argued that billions of dollars in tariffs are needed to offset trade imbalances with China, the European Union, Mexico, and Canada. Tariffs on China will go into effect this week.
  • Oil prices retreated Monday after both Russia and Saudi Arabia reported an uptick in production.
