Indeed, in the trailing month, MP stock suffered a loss of around 18%. However, the company’s latest earnings disclosure appears to have helped right the ship. Late last week, MP Materials delivered robust [results](https://www.tipranks.com/news/mp-materials-stock-jumps-after-ceo-claims-were-years-and-billions-ahead-of-others), with revenue of $53.55 million beating the consensus view of $53.24 million. Further, MP’s Magnetics segment contributed $21.9 million to the top line, pointing to rising momentum in the domestic rare earth magnet production. On the bottom line, while the company did incur a loss per share of 10 cents, analysts were anticipating a much steeper loss of 17 cents per share. Regarding financial stability, the resource specialist disclosed $1.5 billion in cash. As well, it’s not encumbered with debt, affording the enterprise flexibility. Subsequently, the company is in a solid position to scale its Forth Worth magnetics facility and to make preparations for heavy rare earth production by the middle of next year. In response, [MP](https://moneymorning.com/stocks/mp) stock jumped around 12% following the disclosure. On Monday, investors continued to be enthused by the underlying company’s progress, with the security gaining approximately 9%. Still, with so much enthusiasm baked in, what can investors expect next? Using Russian axioms (Kolmogorov, Markov), the forward 10-week median returns of [MP](https://moneymorning.com/stocks/mp) stock can be arranged as a probabilistic distribution, with outcomes ranging between $57.50 and $60 (assuming an anchor of $58.60, Friday’s close). Further, price clustering would likely be predominant at $58.40.  Now, the above assessment is based on the aggregate sequences of all data extending back to [MP](https://moneymorning.com/stocks/mp)’s public market debut. However, the security is currently in a distributive state, structured in a 4-6-D formation: in the past 10 weeks, [MP](https://moneymorning.com/stocks/mp) printed four up weeks, six down weeks, with an overall downward slope. Under the aforementioned condition, the stock would be expected to range between $54 and $67.90. Moreover, price clustering would likely be predominant at roughly $62.40. That’s a positive delta of 6.85% that traditional methodologies like fundamental and technical analysis are blind to. Of course, the current share price of $64.45 already exceeds the expected cluster. Given the latest information, investors may see an optimistic target of $65 to $70 over the next two months.
