Rocket Lab USA (RKLB) just delivered a strong earnings beat, reporting a Q3 loss of $0.03 per share — $0.07 better than consensus. That EPS beat alongside a 48% year-over-year revenue surge to $155.1 million, tops analyst estimates. Forward-looking guidance from management for Q4 came in-line with expectations at $170–$180 million, keeping the company’s growth trajectory intact and investors’ confidence stable. Rocket Lab is a space launch and satellite systems company specializing in small payload delivery through its Electron rocket and Photon spacecraft platforms. It provides end-to-end space solutions — from design and manufacturing to launch and orbital deployment — primarily for commercial, government, and defense clients, including NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and private space ventures. Rocket Lab sits at the center of the expanding low-Earth orbit economy, offering a nimble and cost-efficient alternative to SpaceX for small satellite launches. With rising demand from AI, climate monitoring, and defense, Rocket Lab's vertically integrated model positions it as a critical supplier in the commercialization of space and national security infrastructure. ## Post-Earnings Price Analysis Shares recently pulled back to the psychologically significant $50 level — a price that served as stiff resistance from July through early October before triggering a 40% breakout rally to $70. That resistance flipped to support, and last week’s low marked a textbook technical retest of that breakout zone. Overbought conditions at $70 coincided with sector-wide risk-off sentiment, especially among speculative stocks like Rocket Lab, Small Modular Reactor (SMR) developers, and quantum computing names.  The pullback accelerated when shares broke below the 50-day moving average ahead of earnings. However, the company’s positive report helped reclaim that 50-day line, reigniting momentum. Of note: shares bounced briefly on October 22 following the announcement of completed spacecraft for NASA’s LOXSAT mission, but the rally was short-lived, not enough to break bearish near-term sentiment. Last week’s move below $50 reset technical conditions, with RSI now sitting just under 50, the same level that preceded the previous $70 surge. ## The Bottom Line Rocket Lab has re-entered a bullish setup with strong technicals. The stock’s recent rally back above its 50-day moving average - along with a strong earnings catalyst and solid sector fundamentals - sets the stage for a continued move higher. Watch for resistance at $60.
