And, on the surface at least, I can understand why. "Black gold" has plunged from its high of $107.73 a barrel back in June to as low as $46.83 yesterday, a 56% collapse in less than seven months. Oil prices haven't been that low since the 2008 Great Recession - and they may go lower, still.
