These Two Techs Will Be The Next to Soar

AVG Technologies NV (NYSE: AVG), a cybersecurity play whose stock more than doubled after we recommended to you back in May 2013, has reportedly become a takeover target.

The Wall Street Journal late last week said the Amsterdam-based AVG has been approached by potential buyers amid a wave of deals for security-software makers. The newspaper, citing unnamed sources, said talks are in the "early-stage exploration" stages and involve mostly private-equity firms - although at least one tech firm is also in the mix.

Any deal could take months to put together, published reports tell us.
