This Aerospace Leader Just Sold 12 of the "World's Biggest Drones"

As you folks know from my special research report "Where Eagles Dare" - as well as from my ongoing coverage of drone developer AeroVironment Inc. (Nasdaq: AVAV) - I'm predicting massive growth for the drone business.

And I may be better positioned than most to understand this trend.

    Hello, Bill:

I'm an architect-developer and educator who has had regional planning experience. At the regional level, big transportation ideas become relevant.

Your promoting the huge advantages of bringing big payloads to remote areas overlooks the need for the fine-grained distribution of sub-components of the large payloads. How will that be handled after the super-blimp drops its load? It's one thing if the payload is for the very localized gas- or oil-drilling undertaking (which is environmentally unsustainable anyway), another for the idea of creating an Amazon-like distribution hub. How will this fine-grained and multi-directional distribution be accomplished in remote areas? By more, and smaller, drones?

That's simply to point out that great ideas need exploring completely so that their promise can be fulfilled successfully.
