If you're a car nut, you know the history of the Chevy Corvette, the supercar loved for its fiberglass body. (It was such a sleek, form-fitting body that motorheads used the mantra "Wrap your [posterior] in fiberglass.")
As we've been showing you here for some time now, carmakers are increasingly using "advanced" materials in their vehicles. Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) has turned its vaunted F150 pickup into a mobile billboard for aluminum. Ford also is using Corning Inc. (NYSE: GLW) "Gorilla Glass" (usually found in smartphones and other consumer devices) in the windshield of its GT Supercar.
Car companies obviously are doing this to create lighter, stronger, more fuel-efficient cars and trucks.
Aviation companies - The Boeing Co. (NYSE: BA) and Airbus Group SE (OTC ADR: EADSY) - have been doing the very same thing.
Commercial aviation is booming.
And that boom is going to continue for the next two decades.
Today we're going to give you a brand-new recommendation that will let you cash in on that boom.
