The Santa Clara, Calif.-based designer of mobile and graphics chips announced a new strategy under which it will be licensing the "Kepler" graphics processing unit (GPU) "core" that's the foundation of its various products for speeding up computer graphics. That includes its "GeForce" line of plug-in cards.
