Longtime Private Briefing readers know that one of my favorite movies is the Watergate docudrama "All the President's Men."
It was that 1976 movie - and the book that spawned it - that helped inspire me to become a newspaper journalist, a career that occupied 22 years of my life. And, in an odd irony, one of my first big scoops stemmed from a short interview I did with the biggest victim of the Watergate tidal wave - former U.S. President Richard M. Nixon.
