In its latest annual report - released this week - the U.S. Pentagon for the first time ever makes the same assertion that we've been making to you for months: China's military - and the Beijing-based government that backs it - has been waging a cyber-warfare campaign against America.
This "Cyberhacking of America" has at least two goals. The first is to steal information from U.S. companies - and even from the U.S. government. And the second is to use the cyber-attacks on defense-related computer networks to map weaknesses that could then be exploited during a subsequent crisis, the Pentagon alleges in a report it released Monday.
