MSFT is growing cash by $20 billion a year, Gilani said. With this ever-growing cash hoard, investors are wondering if MSFT is going to try and reward shareholders with a special dividend.

In 2004, MSFT paid out a special one-time $3 dividend under similar circumstances. MSFT has a 2.37% dividend now.

Regardless of the dividend, Gilani added that MSFT is going to have a big 2015.
