Stock Market Today: Triple-Digit Gains "Just a One-Day Pop?"

Today (Monday), Money Morning Chief Investment Strategist Keith Fitz-Gerald appeared on FOX Business' "Varney & Co." with other analysts to weigh in on some of the hottest picks in the stock market today.

After a five-day losing streak, the Dow Jones Industrial Averagescored triple-digit gains today, up 1.10% to 16,242.88. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite Index are also up, 0.98% to 1,859.26, and 0.87% to 4,282.31, respectively.

The Dow's upward jump is attributed to good news on the domestic front that Stuart Varney dubs "your father's rally" - industrial output rose more than expected last month, and the Empire State manufacturing index gained ground this month.

But is this just a one-day pop?
