The Dow Jones Industrial Average Is Going to 18,000 This Year

For the past few months, investors have watched the steady climb of the Dow Jones Industrial Average as it has crept closer and closer to another milestone - 17,000.

But Money Morning Defense & Tech Specialist Michael A. Robinson - who also spends a lot of time studying charts and doing technical analysis - believes 17,000 will be far from the peak for the DJIA in 2014.

"I think we're going to hit 18,000 to 18,500 by the end of this year," Michael told "Varney & Co." host Stuart Varney on a Tuesday appearance on the FOX Business program.
