When Will the Fed Raise Rates?

The FOMC meeting will conclude today (Wednesday), and the question on every investor's mind is, "When will the Fed raise rates?"

According to CME Group's FedWatch Tool, investors believe there is an 18% chance the Fed will raise interest rates today. That is up 3% from yesterday, but 82% still believe the Federal Reserve will leave interest rates unchanged.

"The markets are certainly not anticipating a rate hike," Money Morning Capital Wave Strategist Shah Gilani told Stuart Varney on "Varney & Co." today.
