Why Toyota (NYSE:TM) Keeps Detroit Up at Night

Toyota Motor Corp. (NYSE ADR: TM) has a new vehicle that should worry every Detroit automaker.

That's the warning Money Morning Chief Investment Strategist Keith Fitz-Gerald delivered on a Tuesday appearance on FOX Business' "Varney & Co."

Fitz-Gerald, a seasoned market analyst with 33 years of experience, said the big Toyota stock catalyst is a hydrogen-powered car called the Mirai.

"This, I think, is going to change the game just like Tesla did but it's going to go farther," he said. "I like Toyota here. It's new technology, and it's going to be good for investors."

Fitz-Gerald also sized up retailers and talked about whether the Dow Jones Industrial Average will crack 18,000 this week.
