Even DraftKings' "Revolutionary" New Partner Won't Save Fantasy Sports

This time last year, the sky was the limit for the two biggest daily fantasy sports companies - DraftKings Inc. and FanDuel Inc.

The two sites were just promoting the biggest prize pools in their history and had become some of the largest buyers of TV ad time. DraftKings alone dropped nearly $125 million last season to broadcast its commercials.

Today, however, the landscape for the $26 billion daily fantasy sports industry is drastically different.

Now things may look good...
