One big advantage to having resident tech expert Michael Robinson working out on the West Coast is that the three-hour time difference means I can call the Radical Technology Profits editor and have long talks with him after my own daily deadline has passed.
And some of those talks run on late into the night.
Like the one earlier this week - when the topic was television.
Michael and I were having a contest, trying to see who could name the most companies from America's long-defunct TV manufacturing industry (I won, but not by much). But that morphed into a discussion of the new generation of TV technology - where Michael is the clear-cut expert.
The longtime tech guru has even uncovered a company he believes is superbly positioned to profit from the $3 billion market this new technology is about to create.
