When the Obama administration earlier this month announced that Syria had agreed to surrender its arsenal of chemical weapons to avoid a punitive strike from the U.S. military, Washington made it sound like this whole disarmament transaction was a fait accompli - a done deal.
But as we warned you last week, this disarmament deal is actually a longshot nightmare that could collapse at any time. That could force President Barack Obama to make good on his threat to launch missile strikes against Damascus.
