I won't lie to you. Trading is work.
The big difference though between what we do and what others do is that we're our own boss when we do it.
There's no one hovering over you demanding you hit a deadline, or work over the weekend.
In fact, there are some days out there when we can end our day with just 15 minutes of trading.
That's what we did this morning with Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM).
The stock broke pre-market highs, and that was all I needed to confirm that this was going to be a bullish trade.
So I got in, defined my risk using the VWAP and I watched as it catapulted upwards.
But I didn't just watch it move up. Oh no.
I sold into the moves higher, raised my stops, and reaped the profits.
This is what's known as "milking the trade". You are always selling for profits just in case it rolls back over.
Did I know where TSM was going this morning? Of course not.
So because you never know exactly how high a stock is going to go, you take your profits and don't let it fall back down in your face.
