Get Into This Stock Before It Goes 20% Higher This Month

In any kind of market, short interest data can be used to determine where to “squeeze” profits from.

A higher level of short interest means more institutions are betting against the stock to fall.

But if it rallies higher, they’ll be forced to buy it back and cover their short positions at higher levels.

All you have to do is be there as they cover and bid up the stock, and you can make out like a bandit.

Today, Chris will show you how it’s done and share what this month’s richest target is….

3 Dividend Stocks to Buy to Protect Your Portfolio from Coronavirus Panic

Right now, the S&P 500 is sitting at 2,386.

That figure is roughly 18 times earnings and is getting very close to reaching fair value.

The pullback has brought the S&P down to a critical support level near 2,350.

And now many investors are seeing this as an opportunity to slowly begin buying stocks with strong balance sheets and dividends.

If you're looking for guidance and are eager to put money to work, it's important to be cautious.

But you can start by purchasing solid companies that will thrive during the coronavirus outbreak or will be the key survivors once the pandemic passes.

Here's why you should consider dollar-cost averaging into the following top dividend stocks...

The “Smart Money” Loves This Stock – and Now It’s About to Break Out

This week, I'm attending one of the most exclusive hedge fund conferences on the planet: the SALT Conference in Las Vegas.

My mission is to find out where Wall Street's top analysts and fund managers are putting their money to work over the next year.

It's a very luxurious event – five-star accommodations at the Bellagio.

The speaker list includes prominent names like Dr. Nouriel Roubini, Sam Zell, Mark Cuban, Valerie Jarrett, and Brad Katsuyama.

The annual gathering centers on global investments, finance, social impact, and politics.

Topics range from how to extend human life to cybersecurity challenges in the 21st century.

They have an outstanding cocktail reception where the more than 1,700 attendees can talk best investment ideas, raise capital, and pitch fund strategies.

Fortunately for Money Morning readers like yourself, you don't need to pay $8,000 just to walk in the door at SALT...

How to Play the Private Equity Game Without a Million Bucks

Last week, we looked at how financial companies are feeling the pain of lower fees.

But I hinted at one group of financial companies that is not feeling the pain.

It's one of my favorite groups to own. So when the market sold off last month and these stocks began falling towards a Cost of WAR of less than 1, I was pretty excited and ready to break open some bubbly.

Unfortunately, the decline halted and stocks have rallied back, so I did not get a new opportunity to buy them. The numbers are getting there, and I hope that before too much longer I can send Heatseekers members the call to arms with buy recommendations of these powerhouse firms.

These financial companies are private equity firms.

It's hard for most of us to invest directly in a private equity fund, since most require you to be an accredited investor and have minimum investment levels of millions of dollars. However, we can buy shares of private equity firms and reap the benefits of the high returns they earn.

Let's take a look at exactly how to do so...

Why Investors Are Walloped with a Constant "Bliss Blitz"

Investors are being targeted by an all-out media blitz. But it's a funny kind of blitz – none of the violence you'd normally associate with the word. There's a reason for that, as we'll see.

It's a decidedly opiate affair, this blitz. It's calm, soothing, numbing, and permeated with a "don't-worry, all-good" message on near-endless repeat.

Try this: Think of the last time you read, heard, or saw something about "exploding earnings," "synchronized global growth," or "record levels of consumer confidence."

I'll bet it wasn't long ago at all. In fact, I'll go so far as to say you probably read words to that effect today.

So why is the mainstream media going out of its way to spread… calm and tranquility?

I'll show you the answer in a minute, when we dive into what I can only call a "masterpiece of misinformation" from a trusted American news organization.

Here we go...

Don't Pay a Wall Street Hack for Your Research; These Tools Can Get the Job Done for Free

When it comes to our investing toolkit, all we really need at our disposal are the hammer and the nail.

In other words, you don't need fancy bells and whistles to find undervalued companies ripe for market-crushing profits.

You don't need a broker who's probably ripping you off, and you especially don't need a Bloomberg terminal that costs $24,000 a year and takes up half your office.

All you need are the basics, most of which are free, publicly available, and right at your fingertips.

That's right: Independent research does it every time.

I've mentioned here before that publicly available 13F filings are one of the best tools retail investors can use to find unreasonably lucrative investment opportunities and gain and hold a profitable, sustainable edge.

I like to dig through these documents filed by money management firms every quarter to see exactly what the Wall Street bigwigs are buying and selling, as well as measure how well they're performing compared to the previous quarter.

By doing that, you get an exact picture of what the best and, let's be honest, worst investors are doing with their clients' funds.

And over my more than 27 years in the markets, I've dug through enough financial filings with my shovel and hard hat in tow to understand the most important lesson in investing...

Some of the Richest Guys on Earth Revealed Their Secrets on These Calls; Here's the Scoop

We're coming up on the last few weeks of earnings season… and one of my favorite parts.

That's because the absolute masters – the wizards, the "special forces" of money, the private equity pros – are reporting their earnings and giving their must-have take on the state of the markets and the global economy.

Why is this a can't-miss call?

Because there are some huge opportunities to be had following along with geniuses like Apollo Global Management LLC's Leon Black and KKR & Co. LP's Bill Janetschek.

These folks make serious money. Some of them won't get out of bed unless they can lock in a market-crushing 15% or 20% to do it.

And if you go and do likewise, if you position your money and align your investing with the private equity giants, you can crush the market, too.

Because believe me, ho-hum indexing returns won't cut the mustard for a comfortable retirement...

In Dow Jones news today, the Dow slightly rebounded after plummeting 372 points on May 17.
