A High-Tech Way to Cash In on Investors' Endless Search for Yield

If you're of a certain age, you've probably heard a financial planner say that you should have some money in fixed income – and the closer to retirement you get, the more you're supposed to own.

Now, I'm not going to wade into the lively debate about investing in bonds. Tens of millions of investors hold them, and there are probably just as many opinions.

But it does bring us back around to the existential question of 21st century investing: How do you collect any meaningful bond yields in a zero-interest rate market?

That's particularly pressing for investors over age 50 – or, really, anyone building a retirement fund for themselves.

Now, I've always believed that the road to a happy, prosperous retirement is paved with tech – even more so in an era of low to no interest rates.

And there's an entire bond market I know whose management's taken that very idea to heart. The leadership team is bringing that notoriously low-tech investment into the 21st century, and, even now, reaping remarkable gains for their efforts.

Markets Live Recap: Stocks Rise Despite 3.17 Million More Unemployment Claims

The U.S. weekly jobless claims number increased another 3.17 million people (versus the 3.05 million expected by economists) today.

That brings the total to 33.5 million Americans unemployed over the last seven weeks.

Stocks shook off the news, however, as the Dow rallied 0.9%.

The Nasdaq rose 1.4% as investors buy into technology stocks that are less likely to be affected by government shutdowns.

Oil was up 10% in the first half of trading, but closed down 3% in a volatile session.

And interestingly enough, gold was up 2% while Bitcoin popped 6%.

Typically, gold is negatively correlated to stocks and goes down when the market goes up.

Here's why our experts – Chris Johnson, D.R. Barton, Jr., and Shah Gilani – think stocks are likely to experience more pain to come.

And why gold (and Bitcoin) might be the big winners over the next couple years...

The Top Penny Stock to Buy While the Economy Reopens

The economy is tanking, but the Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 29% since March 23.

And our top penny stock to buy today is still due for a 245% pop.

How does this make any sense at all?

Jobless claims have rocketed to 33 million in a matter of weeks from the coronavirus lockdown.

Meat prices are up 8% as closed packing plants have led to an oncoming shortage.

Oil prices are still in the dumps after OPEC restricted supply too little, too late – WTI Crude has lost 57% since the start of 2020.

Yet, stocks are up.

Here's why.

Why Most Stock Market Predictions Are Contradicting Mr. Market Now

The majority of stock market predictions for the rest of 2020 say equities will turn south and likely re-test the March lows.

The forecasters cite the seemingly endless drumbeat of terrible economic news.

But none of that has stopped stock prices from surging higher.

It's a contradiction that has puzzled many investors. Stimulus is part of the answer.

But one unprecedented move by the Fed is the real reason for the rally...

How to Use Earnings Season to Make Winning Options Trades

It's no surprise to most investors that earnings drive stock prices.

That's why the financial media devotes so much time to covering earnings reports.

In fact, earnings can be the catalyst that gets prices moving in a big way and in a short period of time.

It's no wonder why options traders tend salivate like Pavlov's dog during earnings season.

But trying to guess what a stock will do heading into its earnings report and right afterward is tough game to play.

Plus, you will be up against Wall Street pros with their armies of number crunchers and computer power, making your odds of success much lower.

Fortunately, there's a better way.

This 5G Stock Touches Every Part of the $3.5 Trillion IT Sector

Allied Market Research expects the 5G technology sector to explode from $5.53 billion today to $667.90 billion in 2026.

An 11,977% projection.

Today, we're going to show you a 5G stock with a hand in every part of that growth.

That 122% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the industry is easy dismiss at first.

The average S&P 500 CAGR is 7.20%.

I'll be the first to admit that it sounds crazy.

But when you think about it, almost every technological advancement on the horizon either depends on 5G, or it's preparing for it.

5G is a landmark in human history.

Want to Move from "Investing" to "Trading"? Here's the One Thing You Need to Know

Most investors cringe when they hear the term "technical analysis."

And I get that: With a "short list" of about 75 terms, the technical-analysis realm can be a complicated one.

But it doesn't have to be.

I've been doing this for a long, long time.

So I can tell you that the real short list can be whittled down to just one single indicator.

That's right – just one.

And once you've fully grasped this one technical indicator, you can make the leap from "investing" to "trading" – where the biggest profits are attainable.

Today, I'm going to introduce you to technical trading. I'm going to tell you all about the only technical indicator you need to understand.

And I'll finish by setting you up for your first technical-analysis-driven trade… Full Story

Markets Live Recap: Why Stocks Closed Lower for the First Time in 3 Days

For the first time in three days, the Dow and S&P 500 closed lower as investors weighed the prospects of reopening the economy as job losses grew across the country.

A grim U.S. payrolls report showed private payrolls dropped by 20.2 million in April – the worst job loss in the history of the ADP report.

At the same time 30 U.S. states have already partially reopened their economies or are planning on doing a partial reopening soon.

Here's how our experts – D.R. Barton, Jr., and Shah Gilani – see things playing out in the economy moving forward.

They even provided some of the top stocks to buy and sell today...
